Baked Okra Tempura

This is a simple dish which we make sometimes as an appetizer , goes well with Daal(lentil) Rice or just as a starter at times. It is a vegan dish and you should give it a try for its simplicity and ease to make it.

Prep: 3 mins.
Cooking: 20 mins

Ingredients:
½ lb of Okra/Bhindi/Ladies Finger – Cut into thin slices.
2 Spoons of Rice flour
1 Spoon of Gram flour (Besan)
Salt to taste.
1 spoon of chili powder
1.5 spoon of Cumin powder.

RECIPE :
1. Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together, make sure the batter is coated properly across the Okra.
2. Take a baking tray and coat some oil in the surface of the tray.
3. Bake it for 20 minutes.
4. Keep checking if the Okra turns Crispier.
5. You can also Broil for the last 3-4 minutes to make it crunchier.
6. Serve hot as a starter.

You can also cook the same in an Air fryr or just fry it, we prefer baking it .
